Jean D. Nsabumuremyi, MPA
MEET THE FOUNDER
Jean D. Nsabumuremyi, MPA, founded Elevate Success from a deeply personal belief that education can change the course of a life. His own journey taught him that talent, determination, and dreams are not always enough on their own. Many students and families also need guidance, encouragement, and someone who can help them navigate systems that often feel overwhelming and out of reach. That understanding is the foundation of Elevate Success.
Jean earned both his bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, but his path to higher education was not simple or guaranteed. Like many of the students and families he now serves, he understands what it means to face uncertainty while still holding on to hope.
After Cornell, Jean dedicated his career to helping students and adult learners move forward. He served at the Rhode Island Educational Opportunity Center, as the inaugural director of the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center at Idaho State University, and as Director of the Multicultural Student Services Center at the University of Rhode Island.
